捐獻箱上的士兵圖像是我近期的創作-名為<蜆兵＞的作品，意為背負著家園的士兵為保護自己的土地奮力作戰。希望蜆兵能向災民和救災人士致敬和打氣，在困難中堅持積極、團結。
The image of soldiers showed on the donation box, is my recent artwork which named “Clam soldiers”. They fight for their land and right with their home. Now, I hope they can encourage the people who lost their home to be strong and the helpers to keep the strength.

Just like the ocean, it looks nice enough on the surface. Things underneath are even more fascinating. Just like the movie DVDs, “behind the scene” sound like something extra. By assumption, there may be something interesting under the tables.

兩頭「義犬」在四川 地震中，透過舔嘴唇及吠叫聲，從瓦礫中「救回」活埋8日8夜的婦人。其中一隻義犬叫「前進」。
In the earthquake in Sichuan, two dogs "rescued" an old lady who was buried alive for eight days and nights by barking and licking her face. One of the dogs is called “Move On”.

With the cracks as palmprint, Amethyst tries to illustrate the fact that catastrophes are fate-determining events for the people suffered - they can remain unamendable physical and psychological cracks in the rest of their life. Helping hands, however, can change their seemingly doomed fate.
